Does anyone else's alarm not work when they receive a voicemail in the middle of the night?

I just wanted to say thank you all for your help in answering my questions. I got a much greater and quicker response here than I did in another place I tried to get the question answered. Next time I'll just come here instead of looking elsewhere. lol.

But anyways, I decided to go ahead and order the phone and it will be shipped out to me tomorrow, so thanks again. 🙂

I have an e815 and just purchased a transflash card with the intention of using the built in mp3 player. I formatted my card and I am able to transfer pictures from my computer to the phone via the transflash card. However, I am unable to save any songs from my computer to the transflash card. When I try to play it in the phone under sounds my transflash card comes up empty. Any ideas as to what the problem may be would be greatly appreciated.

Is it me or is this phone missing a way to track missed calls without going into the received call log. On my previous phone lg vx6000, if I missed a call it would say so on both the internal and external screens. The E815 does not. Is there a setting that enables this or does this phone just lack one. If so, that sucks! 😢

I bought a bluetooth adapter on Ebay and it was delivered without any drivers. As my PC is loaded with Win XP, SP2 I would seem to need a copy of the Widcomm drivers. Where can I find these?

Has any one figured out how to make the TF card work on the computer. also have you figured out how to transfer the file from the TF card to the phone... i thought sending a pix message from the card to my phone would work but i just did not get the message. Help would be great from those that know not from people that are asking if an EVDO phone is trimode!!!

I've spent a week now fiddling with my PC to get it to recognize the bluetooth adapter with no success. My PC does have SP2 loaded, and I keep on getting a response that I do not have a license for the device????

If/when I can get the adapter recognized, will it work with MPT ver. 3.25b?

I sent a ringtone from funformobile and the phone played it but when I saved it as a ringtone the phone doesn't play the file or ring at all. It does take a few seconds for the song to start playing when received in the message. I have tried twice and had to do a master reset both times to be able change back to a stock sound. Any suggestions?

I just bought two Motorola e815s (one for me and one for my wife) and am really impressed with the sound quality for the most part.

When I make calls to land lines or other cell phones (non-Verizon phones) the call quality is very good, almost as good as a land line. But when I make a call to my wife's e815 from my e815, the call quality is noticeably worse. Sounds like it's overly compressed or like the other caller is talking into a can. BTW, I'm located in the Baltimore/Washington DC area.

I have done the following to both phones with no real resolution to the problem:
1. Called *22890
2. Called *18
3. Called *228
4. Switched EVRC to 13K (didn't really notice any difference).
5. Turned off EVDO.

No "echo" problems on either...

Is there an option where the mp3 keeps playing the songs instead of stopping after each track? I would like to have it continously playing or a shuffle...anybody have any ideas?

im making my own mp3s and was wondering....what does the sample rate mean.... is higher better or lower better....i can use like ..32....40..or 44...KHz or something like that...any insight would be helpful..thank you...

I'm having trouble with PST 7.2.3 recognizing my phone (via cable) every time I point it to the correct driver it doesn't see the driver, don't know why, I have usbser.sys dated 8/8/2000 and cable aakn4011a from Motorola.

When I plug the phone in without starting PST the PC sees and uses the usbser.sys file, I can see it under device manager, but when I start PST it asks for the other connections ie: Moto Communication Interface, Moto MCU data Logger, Moto Test Command and that's where the problem begins, it just doesn't see the drivers, even if I point it to the right path. The OK button isn't available and I know that the drivers are in the path that I'm specifying.

Can anyone help ☹️

Does anyone know when the HS500 bluetooth headset is going to be released.
And also, I found a site on the net which is currently selling the headset but they are located in the UK, which would imply that it is already for sale but just not here, or that it really isn't for sale and that this site is just a bunch of thieves.

what is the deal on this phone...when is it coming out...and why is it alreasy out for cingular and not verizon...?

I have the E815 and love it, I was in the Verizon Store today and the tech person there told me a new software patch will be coming out soon that will increase the Vibration. Did anyone else hear about this???

Ok having some problems here . I put the card in the tf card reader i tranfer pictures that i have on my computer to the motorola file ,then to the shared folder . When i open the file they show up on my computer but when i put in in the phone they show up as a x . Also i sent some animated stuff the same way and said they were dicrupeted or something . Im doing something wrong it worked perfect with the 8100 but gave that back for allot of reasons any help would be great

Is this program free or do you have to pay to get it? 😕 also, If it is free how in the world can I obtain it? I've tried several sites. I would need pst 7.1.1 or newer.

I'm trying to seem edit the phone, I have p2kseem v710 and am woundering if it will work with the e815?

I am able to get mp3 sounds on my Transflash card to play on my phone. However, in the sounds list, the songs appear in the list at least 4 times each. Also, I cannot scroll forward through the songs, only backwards. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

my battery only lasts about 1 day on standby. i don't make any calls or receieve any calls or play with it. the phone is just on and it dies after about 20-30 something hours on standby. i do have the flashing ev and 1x thing, but i know someone else in my neighborhood with one and they obviously have the flashing ev and 1x too and their e815 lasts for like 3 days or so on standby with minimal use, meaning not many calls, calls aren't long, and no playing with the phone either. i switched my battery for a new battery at the verizon store no problem, but the new one runs out just as fast as the one that came with it. so i think it's the particular phone that i have that's the problem.

so, my question is has anyone exchanged their e815 beca...
