Conference Calling?

Is this phone capable of conference / three way calling? I've tried the directions in the user guide, but can't seem to get it working. Either I'll only connect with one person or hang up on both. Thanks in advance for any help!

Corrupt MP3's?

When I load mp3's onto my transflash card, only about half of them show up. The other half of the files are supposedly "corrupted," as the phone says when i try to send one in a message. Does anyone know why this is?

What's Up With Transflash 128MB???

I recently had the Sandisk 256MB Transflash, and formatting was flawless on my phone.

I decided to go with the 128MB Transflash(It better suits my needs for now). Trying to format was a nightmare with this card! It appeared to format in my phone, but once it was put into the card reader of my pc, the computer froze. I tried it again, and same results. The pc asked if I wanted to format card, but was unable to do so. I never had to format the 256MB in my pc. I then got an error message indicating ...."I/O device."

Has anyone else experienced this with the 128MB Transflash? Please help. Thanks......... 😕

External Display backlight/color when flip closed?

I was wondering if it is possible to have the external display background color change from extremely dark blue (very difficult to read) to a sky blue or some other color that will allow me to see the time a bit better when the flip is closed?

GREAT PHONE FOR BEING THROWN FROM THE TOP OF A CAR!

I am surprised that my phone is doing as good as it is. It was dropped from a car going 35 mph onto a main road. (dont ask) Luckely there are only a few scatches and the phone is still in perfect working condition. I am a little ticked, as I already returned the phone after 2 days because I scratched the external display on a brick. (also dont ask). It was alot of hassle to get the thing switched and here I am again with a scratched phone. Either way, I am just lucky to still have one, as I almost ran over the dang thing.

MP3 RINGTONES: i figured it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, so i got my phone a few days ago and i thought i would share with you how to do it, cause i would have liked to have someone tell me. I saved a preview mp3 from walmart. I renamed the end of the name to .mid. Using my yahoo email, i attached the file and sent it to my phone at my [email protected]. I opened the file, it played the song. while playing i hit the menu button that has four horizontal bars on it. it gave me the option to save the file. i pressed it. it brought me to a blue screen with the song. i pressed the OK button. it gave the option to save as ringtone, so i did! i am so much happier with this phone now.

Verizon Leather Case swivel - clip stretched out

Have the Verizon branded leather case with the swivel belt clip. After one week the clip (metal hinge) is stretched out and no longer clips tight to belt. Has anyone had the Verizon case for a long time? Did I just get a dog and should replace it or try another brand and/or type of case?

Data Cable for e815

I have the data cable and the phone tools software which has been updated to V3.25b. I can't get my phone recognized by my computer. I see the pic of my phone and then it says initializing. Any ideas how to fix it so when I break it I can at least still have my numbers saved. Thanks

picture storage management

I wondered if there is a way to list the pictures taken from the most recent to the past instead of the other way around.

Is there a way to group them and label the group in a type of file folder?

the pictures are stored on the phone itself.

E815 Driver Problems

I'm having a small problem, and I hope somebody can give me some help. I recently purchased a Motorola Mobile Phone Tools kit via eBay, did a seem edit to my phone, and have been using the Mobile Phone Tools software to transfer ringtones and wallpapers to my phone and transflash card. Its been working for the past 2 days perfectly, but today, I plugged in my phone, and Windows doesn't recognize my phone at all. I tried pointing Windows to the drivers on my hard drive, but that didn't work either. If Windows doesn't recognize the drivers, MPT doesn't work. Does anyone have any bright ideas to try besides reformatting my hard drive and reinstalling XP? Thanks

Aftermarket antenna for E815

Hi,

just got an E815, but the antenna is superannoying when carrying the phone in my pocket. I am looking for a shorter antenna replacement, like a stubby.

Do you know of aftermarket antennas for this phone? Are V710 and E815 antennas interchangeable?

Thanks,
blu

Loudness of Ringers

I've heard several comments about the loudness of the ringers saying that they were good but I wanted to know if anyone who has had a v710 how it compares to the e815 in terms of loudness of the phone with the ringers on the phone and the mp3's that are put on it. Also how does the speakerphone on the e815 compare to the v710?

Has anyone tried this today or had this problem?

I tried sending a picture to my phone through vzwpix.com and I get a text message instead that says "you have a pix or flix message waiting for you. To view it access vzwpix from any internet accessible computer and follow the directions."

When I access the site through the phone (mobile web) and tell it to send the message to self- all I get is another text message saying the same thing and a duplicate picture on the website.

It's even doing this on pictures that I used to be able to send to my phone previously.
