😲 Anyone hear about this NYC qworker things that you get 19% off your VZW bill?

On the camera do i have to turn the flash on every time a take a picture.

If you have a USB cable for the phone and have installed the USB modem driver that I put in a previous post, you can now hook wireless Internet for a laptop wherever you may be, airport, hotel, park, ect.

This will still be a dial-up account, not high speed Internet, but at least you can do it. The phone will act as your modem connection to the Internet.

Just set up in Windows another Internet connection with the Motorola USB modem as the connection device. You can place a shortcut on the desktop to this connection so it will not interfere with your regular Internet service, whether it be another dial-up or high speed.

I would highly recommend the shortcut or you will be finding it trying to look for this connection when on cable ...

Can you set your own picture as the wall paper on the front screen? and also do people's pictures come up on there when they call me..... deal clincher to switch from my lg 8100!!!!

1) I set a test alarm entry for 9:30pm and had it 'DISABLED' but it still rings everyday. Is this supposed to happen? (ie, do I need to delete alarm entry if I don't want it to ring?)
- Doesn't make sense to have to delete it, otherwise why would people have multiple entries? Help me understand

2) Also, what is the '24 hr' option (vs am & pm) when setting an alarm?

3) Also, I think I see the outside 'Verizon" logo turn UPSIDE DOWN ever so often. I think it's when I have speaker phone On with flip open??? Anyone else have that?

4) Someone called and I went into voicemail to retrieve message...But, I noticed beforehand that I didn't see their number under RECENT Received Calls??? (ie, received calls was empty??)

Does anyone have ANY idea when all of the full Get It Now list will be availible on the E815? I mean, I can get all the free backgrounds I want directly downloaded from wap with Pictavision and it currently isn't on there. Anyone have any idea how I can get it on there or when it will be availible? Thanks.

P.S.- I already know about funformobile.com. It's nice but it counts against my EMS's for the month.

Would you say the internal screen on the E815 is as sharp as the 8100. I was in the the store today and the e815 looked very light compared to the color depth of the 8100, yet all the reviews say the e815 is more vivid, could this be the Verizon store lighting??

since i have had the e815, i have been researching bluetooth headsets. i would like anyones help on just a list on bluetooth headsets available for purchase or new release. if you could list them that would be great i could research them on my own. but if you want to tell me why u do or dont like one or another go for it. it will save me a lot of time.

Anyone have a good sight for downloading free soundbytes from movies/tv etc for use as ringtones etc?

First off I must say that this phone is great. I have never had any problems with this phone at all.

Second, this phone is very durable. I was at the lake this past weekend and when I was unloading my boat I dropped my E815 in the lake and was like "aww F&^%". The display went blank and so on. I took the battery out of it and let it dry over night. Once it was good and dry, I put the battery back in the phone and it works perfect.

Very good durable phone Motorola, very good indeed.

Got my E815 last Monday and was very excited about it. After a few days of usage I noticed that my battery was draining at a abnormal rate(with normal usage) I wasn't using Vcast, downloading ringtones you know things that would drain your battery just normal usage a fews calls here and there, but nothing to constitute my battery going down in 24 hrs. So I took it back to Circuit City and they replaced the battery and as of now so far so good. It looks like the issue was a defective battery. So for those of you having battery trouble it just may be your battery is bad.

Where could I get a memory card for the E815? and is it worth it?

I'm not posting this to get people all fired up. Its just that i've had nothing but bad experiences with Motorola phones. I've had:

1. V600 (x2)
2. V505
3. V551 (X2)
4. v710

The v600 was buggy and had it replaced and it worked ok. Upgraded it to the V505 and that worked for about 6 months and then the reception starated to suffer. The V551 was replaced and then returned after a week because of poor reception. My friend is with Verizon and I borrowed his v710 cell phone for a week and it was buggy too. Also, I have my second V600 to my sister and its having problems too. It, like the V505, worked good for about 6 months.

I'm thinking about ordering the E815 from amazon.com (I only want 1 year contract), and I have several questions. Thanks in advance for your help.

1) If I order the phone from amazon and it turns out to be a defective phone, can I exchange it at a Verizon store?

2) If I cannot, do Verizon stores at least do some quick fix for the phone (e.g., install the Vcast software in case the phone doesn't have it)?

I see in the user reviews, that people love the MP3 player. But in this forum, nobody can get it to work. Can someone that has this phone please tell me if it works for sure, and how. Also how is the earpiece volume. In the past all the Moto phones I had had poor earpiece volume. I mean I had to push the earpiece into my ear canal, no lie! Can you use the MP3 ringtones as ringers?

Just got an E815 and tried the vzwpix thing to get an mp3 ringer. I registered there then tried to email myself (my#@vzwpix.com)

I receive a message on my phone saying you've got a pix/flix message go to www.vzwpix.com to see it. This is a Free Message.

What gives, I've tried this like 7 times each time I get the same message, I don't receive the emailed message that I send to my#@vzwpix.com

I first exchanged my lg8100 for the E815, many problems, The E815 had even more problems and exchanged it for the LG 8000 and love it, The E815 feels like a toy and is very delicate, I don't need bluetooth or MP3. The LG 8000 is the way to go Excellent Reception and battery life.

Does the cable that is included in the Verizon Mobile Office USB Data Cable Kit have the ability to charge the phone? I had purchased one off eBay for 6$ and it can't charge. I know if I fry my phone, and it has the charging port, I should be able to fix it (should).
