LG VX-8100

Does anyone know how to set the ringtones from MySounds as ringtones using either Bitpm or Qpst. Or at least what format does Verizon support for ringtones.

Also how can i transfer games from vx700o to VX8100, win what folder would i have to take them from and transfer to.

Is anyone using the Cardo Scala 500 bluetooth headset with their 8100 or other cellphone? I like the headset and am thinking about buying one for my 8100. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Anybody know how to connect them for DUN or SMS?

I'm on a Mac and can't get ti to work. Shows up but clicking on 'getting started' produces nothing. Anybody else with a mac have this problem?

I have seen that Moto has a Stereo Bluetooh headset that is "Comming Soon" Does anyone have any info on this? Or know of any other stereo headsets.

I am able to edit mp3 files to small bits less than 400k, and transfer them to my phone via mobileforfun.com and my phone will play them. They are then stored under my sounds.....how can i set them as ring tones?

I couldnt wait to get the 8100.I love my 4400b with s/w version 10 the best phone ever...
NOW I am not so sure if I want to change.
Is the 8100 mobilweb a lot quicker than say the a LG VX7000?Will the reception be as good as my 4400?Speaker phone-is it good enough going down the road in a quiet car?IS there any othre 4400 users that have jumped to this phone ?Are you happy?

I just recently got the 8100 every so often when I hit my "messages" button, my phone shuts completely down and turns back on! Anyone else have that problem?? 👿

okay what exactly is the deal with the mp3 player...is it non-exsistent? is it coming through get it now tones at some point,i have the phone and there is no mention is the book about mp3 player..and 512mb????is tthat bullshit to???thanks for any info?

how can I use my Mp3s as ringtones. the memory card is only set to accept qcp and midis. anyone hacked this feature yet?

I've had my 8100 for about 18 hours now. I haven't done anything exotic with it yet, but here are my preliminary feelings...

It's a quality made instrument! Detail is beautiful. Fit and finish are excellent. But overall, it's a little less than I expected... just a little!
(Note: I'm coming off the LG-6000 which I truly love. I never had one minute's worth of problems with it, and I plan one keeping it as a backup.)

The SOUND/reception is much better than adequate, but not great.

The overall QUALITY is excellent, but I think it's not up to Samsung standards.

I don't like that you can't change the RED MENU BARS. That's very annoying... I don't like red!

Does anyone notice how right after you press Ok to take a picture, the picture itself on the main LCD is much brighter than the image you see before you take the picture??

I swapped this phone out yesterday with the MOT e815, and the MOTO did not have this problem with the lcd with that phone.

I do realize pressing clr b4 taking the pic helps eliminate the pause for the shutter itself, but this does not correct the problem.
Also, you can press up and down arrow keys to brighten or darken the lcd, but the picture on the lcd still gets brighter after you take it. IT MAKES IT SEEM THAT THE PICTURE YOU JUST TOOK IS MUCH BRIGHTER THAN WHAT U SEE ON THE LCD B4 YOU TAKE IT

Hi I need help. I got my phone earlier this week and I am truly an LG fan as I loved my 6000 phone. It had good reception Hardly never drop a call. My problem is like some others I am having problems with Volume on a call I go from good volume to none then back up again. Really sucks when you miss have a conversation and you don't know what the other person is saying. Also I am really getting no reception and dropping so many calls since I got this phone when the LG 6000 got really good reception and never dropped a call. I love this phone and really don't want to give it up but I may have no choice. Can anyone help me keep it or suggest another phone that will work and have everything that the 8100 has and works. Thanks for any help...

i was wondering what ya'll opinion was on the bluetooth headsets and which ones are the best

So I've been watching some vcast about 2-3 clips, then did a little casual talk and my battery was at half power. Is it supposed to go down so fast?? Do u have to recharge it every night? The guy in verizon store recommended to recharge it every night but I dunno I was just wondering...

I just picked up the 8100 and was playing with it and there is only one light that flashes on front for an incoming call and one light that lights up for the flash on the camera. It looks like there should be two, is that correct?

Just wondering, does the E815 have anything like the color effects option on the 8100? I think it's awesome!
