Camera- how do pics with motion come out?

How does the camera do with motion?(I know there's a lag that folks say to hit the clear button right after you take a pic, but how do the pics when something is in motion come out?)

Thanks!

More on mp3 player....

I live in Montana and just picked up the 8100 this morning. The customer service person was telling me that they didn't receive the 8100 as planned and that she could order it for me and I would receive it in a few days. Just as she finished telling me this, another cs person came by and said that they just received them and started putting them away in the cupboard. My cs grabbed one and we couldn't believe how lucky I was. After all was said and done, the phone cost just under $50 with the rebate.

Then I asked her how the mp3 player works....she seemed sure of this and I haven't tested it out yet...She said that once the mini sd card is inserted, the player automatically pops up. She suggested a card reader for getting the mp3's onto t...

Dial up networking

The Dial up networking is disable by default here is how to enable so you can use them with the cable or Bluetooth Dun settings. 😛

You can press Menu+0 and then the code is 000000..then press 4, then 6 to turn on the bluetooth dialup, and also the cable by pressing 5 instead of 6..and enabling DUN mode.

Got MP3's to play on my LG VX8100 phone!

WHAT WORKS:
MP3's from your phone's primary memory

WHAT DOESNT:
MP3's from your phone's extended memory (yet)
Outter buttons dont function
You have to keep the phone open

Equipment and software needed:

-You need a data cable. VX7000 or other similar cable should work for you.
-THe newest version of BITPIM

Steps to follow
1. First you need to unlock the datacable from your phone:
- OK,0000000, 4, 5, and ENABLE
2. Now you will be able to access the file view system under BITPIM.

3. Browse to \BREW\16452\mf
4. Right click the folder in bitpim and click NEW. Send files. Ive tried MIDI and MP3(128bit) both work. Most likely more formats as well.
5. Next, go to the phone's media player thru these steps

Sync with Outlook

I like to keep my Outlook contacts and cell phone contacts synch'd. I know that the E815 would probably let me use Motorola Phone Tools fairly easily. How about for the VX-8100? Is the E815 hands-down better than the 8100 in this regard?

V-CAST, mobileweb4u.com, get it now

Maybe a general question, maybe not..

If i want to "cruise the internet", do i HAVE TO use V-cast (if i have it), or can i use "Get it now"

OR, is get-it-now a verizon wireless service and only provides ringtones, wallpapers, etc. for your phone to donwload? and does get-it-now cost per KB transfer or second used or anything?

and if anyone has even heard of it, does www.mobileweb4u.com work tieh the VX8100, and work well?

basically, does anyone know DETAILED information, or for that matter, any more information than i do, on either 3 of these services?

need help choosing phone

I am looking to get a new phone and I've narrowed my search to the 8100 or the e815. My current phone (LG 6000 has worked great, but I've been dropping calls)

My friend has the 710 and he loves it! Maybe I should just get that since its so much like the e815?

Thanks for your input!

Online but not in Get-it-now section

The phone is on the verizon website but not listed as an option under the get-it-now section.

10 dollars off bluetooth

I am not sure if this will work outside the chicago area but since we have a law banning the use of a cell phone while driving. If you go to http://www.hellomoto.com/chicago you will recieve 10 dollars off of a bluetooth headset. Hope this is useful for at least some of you

I JUST GOT MY 8100 yesterday. it's a neutered phone right now.

i just got mine yesterday. but it's giving me more disappointment. it only gives you 32MB of memory, not 512MB. it doesn't even have options to transfer MP3 files from the PC, let alone play them. there's not even a USB cable that comes with this $200 gadget. what's up with all this.

it almost seems like, VZW disables and changed the specs until the MOD service comes online. at this point, the 8100 seems like a neutered phone.

Allow me to make a statement...

😕 First of all, I don't want this post to create a war of words here. After all, it's a forum to discuss issues and products, etc.....NOT to argue with who is right and who is wrong. This is all just my opinion on all of the threads here.
I just want to say to everyone: 😎 chill out. OK, if you don't like the phone, you don't like it. Don't call it a horrible phone or go bashing it just because it doesn't do what you want it to do. A lot of people on here would love the bluetooth to be fully functional, have an awesome mp3 player, and record hour long home movies......but it only costs $200 guys. If a phone was developed that did that much you'd be talking at least $500, probably more. Will verizon eventually release a phone that does...

Any real-life comparisons between e815 and vx8100???

Would still like to get some real feedback between the e815 and vx8100--from those who got the Moto and then the LG. All the comparisons I've read to date have been based upon hear-say and hype.
