Where can I get new wallpaper?

I had a NE2 contract come up and went with an LG 8000. I can return it and go with a 8100 but based on what I have read on this board, the 8100 just isn't worth it.

The MP3 player and Mini SD on the 8100 really peaked my interest, but now it seems that they are junky.

The other negatives is the lack of the recordable ringtone (without using a hack) and lack of data cable.

Is the MP3 Player as junky as people are saying? Is the Mini SD basically useless?

Tell me why I should chose the 8100 over the 8000.

ARe the menus the same as the 7000 and the 8000?...and also have made the phone so that you take off those red bars at the top and bottom..or at least change the colors?..thanks!

Anyone know where to get the software to sync with Mac?

the buttons on the outside of the phone are labeled as playback buttons. Yet i keep looking for a way to playback the vcast movies or my own videos from the outside screen but it doesnt work. can anyone tell me what the outside buttons are used for other then checking txt?

When getting ringtones, you have to download and application. When the price for the applications come up, it says the price and "1 Uses, 5 Uses, etc"

What does that mean exactly?

Does it mean I can only buy ONE song for that price, or FIVE songs for that price? Don't exactly get what it means.

since when does the NE2 ADD to the 2 year agreement of new customers??? Sorry, its the same price as the new customer, not a additional discount.

btw does anyone know what type of data cable you should use for this phone?

Has anyone found how to use the three buttons located below the front screen. I've been able to use them to exit from camera/video capture mode and in order view text/pic messages, but I want to know how to play files from my sounds/my pics/my flix using those buttons.

Would anyone be able to tell me how best to utilize the bluetooth features of the VX8100. I just purchased the phone at a local retailer. I want to know what the best way to get my contacts (whether it be from Outlook or Entourage or even Address Book on Mac) into the phone via Bluetooth. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

The specifications on this phone said it had 512MB of memory. Now, it has a question mark.... (?) what happened?

I just switched to verizon from sprint this past weekend due to better service in my area. I am trying to decide on a new phone and currently have the e815. Size is a huge issue for me. I love the big, colorful screen and all the features of the e815. I also do a lot of text messaging so the large keypad is nice to have. I am not too concerned with the mp3 differences between the phones but the size is a big issue for me. I went to the vzw store yesterday to play with the vx8100 and liked the size a lot better but to be honest it was quite boring. The graphics and display were disapointing. The front display was vivid but very small. What should I do? I have another 13 days to trade my e815 in for the vx8100 or I could wait, anyone know of a...

Ok so i have to admit... The e815 looks WAY better then the vx8100, but that is only because of that blue frontplate... So i was wondering......

Are they going to make a vx 8100 BLACK like they did to the vx7000? Cause I dont want a blue phone, espcially some turqouise one. Better yet, how about they take that stupid blue color off the faceplate and make it straight up silver???

Hey What's up everyone! Yesterday I broke down and got the Motorola e815 out of neccesesity. The funny thing is, I had such strong feelings on the differences between the 8100 and the e815 before. I was a down with Motorola guy before. But now that I have the phone I swore off, I came to realize....

These are just phones people. While there are differences between companies and all that good stuff.... It's just a phone. This epiphany came after weeks and weeks of arguing with Verizon Reps all over the place trying to get a new phone, waiting what feels like an eternity for the 8100, and getting more angry with the whole process than was worth it..

I am going to be getting the VX8100 tomorrow. i wanted to know if it is possible to use the vx8000 or vx7000 data cable on the vx8100, or if you have to buy the data cable for the new model. Please let me know.

Ok is the bluetooth in this phone massed up like the one in motorola v710 or u can transfer files, the only thing that concerme in this phone is the bluetooth i want a fully working bluetooth like you can transfer files like pics. (ALL I WANT IS A PHONE THAT YOU CAN TRANSFER FILES WITH THE BLUETOOTH) OR how about e815 is the bluetooth massed up too??
