LG VX-8100

I am an agent for VZW and I was able to order the 8100 to sell for tomorrow!! I am so excited! 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁

So...exactly WHICH BT headset would work best with this phone. Is there one out there that will work fully in automatic mode so you rarely have to touch the phone?

I bought a scala 500 a while back (with BT adapter for my 4650....well, I should have known that it doesn't work fully in automatic mode. I can use it in auto mode but then the headset remain on (not in standby). This is okay, other than the fact that you sort of hear the speaker, and it might be exposing me to more RF than I want(?)

A BT headset is worthless in my opinion if you can't do pretty much everything from the headset (in terms of making/ending calls). The phone manufacturer should start making their own headsets for each phone.

I just tryed to transfer a 1.5 meg pic and load it on the phone, but it didnt show up. The screen was just blank. I guess you have to resize the photo.I wonder what is the max size it can handle?

I just got a txt from the vzw guy at my local mall (Harrisburg, PA) and he said i can pick up my 8100 after 4pm today. 😁 I'll admit, i'm not as excited as i was a few weeks ago...

I got my 8000 july 2nd, and it is loaded with pix n flix, i have a data cable but no drivers. anyone here have the driver to email? is that even possible? 😕 😕

I've pretty much decided the first phone of mine will be the 8100. What I want to know is which contract should I get if getting a flagship phone with all the bells and whistles (about a new one every year) is high on the priority list without having to pay out of my behind for each new one. Thanks for any info! I know I'm totally clueless about everything phone related 😕

on the 8100 there is no way u can record a memo and set it as a tone...i sent a mp3 to the phone n it goes in the same directory as the memos...now with software and a usb cable can u hack into the ring tones and put mp3s on through there???? please try someone!!

Jabra Headset for Bluetooth has been a bit STATICY. never had bluetooth before is it like this always?

Also regular EARpeice on phone volume is kinda low.

Speakerphone is loud but words get cut off, even in mute.

I know no phone is perfect but yesturday this phone was a 9........not its slipping into the 8's and fast.

I may take a second look at the E815

make a video then send it then cancel it...now go to your sent and go to the unsent message and erase it....does anyone elses phone shut off?

The info page on phone scoop has been updated with verizon wireless tenative which we know its coming out within the day.

The LG link is on the bottom to the 8100 page on lg.com.

And the memory is now a ? in the memory field.

Not a good sign for the memory.

I heard this one thing that you can ONLY download wallpaper/ringtones, etc. to this phone through VERIZON

i know some sites that sell ringtones and wallpapers, etc., and they just send them to your phone (nothing done with Verizon or LG or anything). Can you do this with this phone?

Ok just got the phone last night ,but I dont see the option to vibrate then ring? Either its vibrate only or ring only. This sucks since I like to leave it in my pocket and sometimes grab it before it rings.
