LG VX-8100

Can you dial/received from the motorola bluetooth ear piece or should i get the jabra?
Anyone tested?

I went by the verizon store to check on status and the salesman looking in computer and to his surprise they had 5. He got authorization to sell because they were sold out of moto 815

and it worked like a champ. One bar but held the signal solid. I like the phone pretty well so far. By the way, the other one is sold.

🤣 🤣 🤣 What a joke. Bought an e815. What a piece of junk. Maybe the reception is better but the rest of the phone sucks. Sat in parking lot for 45 min playing with phone. The speakerphone can hardly be heard, even with windows shut. Vibrate feature - about 2 sec and can hardly feel it. Voice Dial - kept dialing wrong number on digit and kept sending to text. If I closed flip, opened it again and pressed voice, it would dial a previously spoken number without even asking. Name dial did not work either. I never left the parking lot and returned it. Got the same results with speakerphone on or off. That was my experience with it. Wouldn't take it if VZW gave it to me for free and paid my contract. 😕 😕 😕

How would you compare the phone to the E815? What are the pros for each and the cons? Also, a big factor for me will be the ability to connect it to my computer. Which one is able to, and let me know if you can out of the box or with a little tweaking. Thanks a lot. I'll be a first time Verizon wireless customer, so I appreciate the help.

the official launch date for the LG 8100 is friday the 15th of july.

is the phone already in some stores?....yes

will some employees who don't know any better sell it before the official release date?....yes

will they get fired for it?...we'll see 😲

should you expect to get one any sooner?....no

Just got the video that jrcase was talking about. Any of you with video phones email me @ [email protected] w/ your VZ #. I've got unltd txt/pix/flix so I'll send as many as you need (within reason, of course.) 😁 Clarity and sound are better than v710 in my humble opinion

Does/will detroit, MI have EVDO anytime soon? and what about east lansing area, lansing area? do they already have it?

and how are people getting their phones already?

So here is the answer why people have different release date stories. EVDO is not everywhere yet therefore if there is not EVDO in your area your Verizon Store near you will not get the phone in stock but they will be able to order it. So many reps may not know about it because they will not get it in there store.

got off the phone with a verizon rep after seeing the cool pictures of the phone and that somone actually had one..the woman told me THERE IS NO RELEASE DATE YET????? i asked her if she any idea when it might come out,she said not anytime soon???how much stock should i put into this or does she not know what's she's talking about????

😁 😁 😁 received my shipment of them in my freight today (all ten)!!!! I was so excited I almost wet my pants!!!!! I work in the middle of the US and from what I have heard threw my merch cordinator this phone will be launching on Monday here! Even called the employee order line and they told me the same thing.

this phone looks so freckin sweet.......ph and got the essential bundle in as well (car charger, case and handsfree hearing...this one is stero and regular talk hands free) will run the same price as all other essentials $49.97

Does anybody know if you can add adresses to contacts using the 8100?

I dont want to by the treo 650 or the samsung I730 only for this option.
