Import Lotus Notes Calendar with Bitpim - Help

I'd like to sync my 8100 with my Lotus Notes version 6.5 calendar, however it doesn't look like bitpim can import a calendar from Notes. Anyone have any suggestions?

Can someone answer me this?

Ok, the 8100 was pulled temporarily to add the VCAST music (v06) software onto it and therefore it won't be available again until Monday, which is when VCAST music launches. Well....VCAST music will also be available on the 950 and Samsung even introduced the "re-relase" of it for Monday, so why has IT not been pulled to add this software? Why is it still available? I know in all the VCAST Music info it states that if you already have these two phones, you can bring them in and get them updated, but that still doesn't explain why the 8100 is temp. unavailable and not the 950. Just incredibly curious.

Low battery alerts?

I have had my 8100 for about 4 months now-coming from the 6000 and my biggest frustration is that when the battery is low and i am on a call, i get no beeps, no noises to indicate that the battery is low and then all the sudden it powers down WITHOUT NOTICE in the middle of my call. I have searched through all the tools/alert sounds etc and there is nothing for a low battery signal. does this exist? is there a way other than the blinking for the phone to tell me it's dying? HELP PLEASE!

Data Cables?

On the Verizon accessories site, it looks like you can only buy a data cable in a $30 package which includes a CD and headphones.

1) Is this correct, or can I buy the cable alone for less?

2) If so, where can I do this?

3) What is on the "V-Cast Music Essentials Kit" CD that I need? Won't it work to transfer without that?

Thanks in advance!

8100 volume problems

Love the 8100. It is on Verizon network. Seem to notice a little fluctuation on the volume. Seems to be loud...then soft.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Aftermarket Cradle/Charger

Does anyone know of one? I read a thread earlier where the answer was no, and I can't find one anywhere on the net. They're so convenient, but are seem to be less and less prevalent.

Vx-8100 or RAZR

Hi,
I'm getting ready to upgrade my phone and would like some input as to which is a better phone. I currently have the LG-600. It's between the VX-8100 or the RAZR. The most important things to are the reception and battery life. Any suggestions?

Plastic Holster

I purchased the plastic holster (the thing that clips onto your belt or whatever) that Verizon sells with this phone. I'm looking for a better one.

The one I have is HUGE because it is designed to accomodate a bigger battery (longer life, I guess). I'm looking for a holster that fits the stock phone and battery, thus much thinner.

Any suggestions on where to find one?

software update

don't think it fixes anything, only adds mod service. I know when i tried the camera on the newer version next to mine it was the exact same delay, so i am fearing they didn't address some of the other problems i have heard people gripe about on here, such as volume bug.

Using my LG VX8100 as a MP3 Players

I have a question about the battery life while using my 8100 as a MP3 Player. I am in the process of purchasing a 1GB Mini SD Memory Card for my 8100. Has anyone used it & know how fast it drains the battery? If it is too bad I may just buy a MP3 Player. Thank you!

MOD Story

There was an interesting story in yesterdays Wall St. Journal that makes me think VZ may soon change their policy on tethering their EV-Do phones to a computer. According to the article, their new Music download system scheduled for start-up later this month, will allow downloading music to either the phone or to a computer. If downloaded directly to the phone, they plan to charge $1.99 per song. If downloaded to a computer, they only plan to charge $.99 per song. Regardless of how it is downloaded, the article said that you will be able to play the music on both your phone and your computer. They are doig this to compete with the iPODS. I am wondeering how they expect you to play it on both the computer and the phone unless they change thei...
