Ear-Fones 4 MP3

Which ones do you guys prefer??? Which ones are you guys using?? Comment on the comfort, quality, and recommendation!

I am thinking about the Jabra C220 or the C120... Any other ones other than the Jabras? How about that BT one from CompUSA? That joint is too expensive!!!

I am also about to get the Sandisk MiniSD 1Gig memory card and the 5-in-1 MobileMate adapter! Can't wait to try the MP3 Player. Just need to decide on which earphones to get.

Also, which cover are you guys using? I dun want any scratches on this baby!! Anybody using the animal covers? hahaha jk.

Free midi Ringtones

After purchasing this phone, which so far so good, I wanted to add ringtones hated the idea of having to pay $2.00 or more for a tone.

I searched the web and there are tons of midi tones available. So I purchased the Mobile Office Phonebook manager and used the USB cable that came with it to upload these tones and wallpapers to my phone for free.

Worked great and no issues.

Looks like this cable works on the New 9800 also.

Now I would like to see if I can use MP3 format for ringtones.

8100 Reject

Finally gave up on 8100 2 weeks ago. VZW ok'd a change to Samsung a950. What a piece of s**t. Battery does not last an hour's talk-time. Voice Dialing absolutely horrible. Went thru 2 phones, brand new. 1st sent everything to text and 2nd said no match. Found out since voice dialing software is provided to Samsung and Motorola by a company called VoiceSignal. So here I am back with 8100 and will hold on for an update. Love my 8100 and never wanted to give it up. I'll deal with it 🤣 🤣 🤣

LG VX8100 Need information on how to use the MP3 Player feature

I just purchased a vx8100 phone and have been reading about it having a MP3 player built in.

I can find no reference to this in the Manual. Where are the instructions on how to use this feature?

Is there a web site link that I can get this information from?

It also has a mini SD Memory Card Slot in the side of the phone. I can find no information on where to purchase a mememory card, or how to use this feature.

Would you please advise me on how to get this information.

Overseas- phone won't tell time, is there a fix?

Hello,

I'm in England right now, and I'm traveling a lot and I was hoping to use the alarm on the phone. It just says searching for service, and I can't get it to tell time. The only reason I brought it was so that I had all my numbers and to use it as an alarm clock. Any advice on how to get the clock working?

thanks

8100 mp3 player

I have been looking through the site and can't find the answer. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I'm ready to scream. I have the miniSD card and a card reader. I was all pumped up to get some mp3s on the phone. But I can't find the folder for mp3s? I see the folder for My pix, my flix and my sounds, but that is it? WHat do I need to do to get the My MP3 folder? HELP ME!!!
And sorry if I asked a question that's been asked and answered a million times! 😢

Please Test Standalone Mode for MP3s

Hello, I stated in a previous post that my MP3s will sometimes (okay, most of the time) sound like static when I am in an area of no service. I thought I had an answer as to why this was happening, but then got a response from someone who didn't experience the problem at all. The person who responded tested their phone and the MP3s worked fine in areas of no service, which "Standalone Mode" mimics. Could some others possibly try that with their phone as well? (I didn't use any special programs for my MP3s - i just have the SanDisk card and SanDisk Mobile Mate card reader).

"Standalone Mode" (Menu, Settings and Tools, System, then turn Standalone Mode "on") mimics being in an area of no service. (Standalone Mode is not in the Hidden M...

Blue Tooth and Volume issues

I went into the Verizon store at Times Square in NY this morning complaining about the volume fluctuation that I have been experiencing since having this phone (1.5 weeks). Basically I was told that i must be hitting the volume while I am talking.

WHATEVER!

Then I mentioned that I was unable to use the 8100 as a dial up modem. I actually had to give a demonstration of what I was talking about using my IPAQ and the 8100. When it didn't work I asked the clerk to watch as I make a connection using the LG VX9800. OMG it actually worked. In no time at all I was asking Google to show me search results for AOL! The Technician then, being amazed of course, brought out a brand new 8100 and asked me show him the trick again. It didn't work. I le...

Bluetooth Stereo Headphones @ CompUsa

Just wanted to let everyone know that there are Hp-branded bluetooth stereo headphones available at Compusa - both in store as well as off the website...

here's the link:

http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?pro ... »

Beware though - Im not sure how great an HP headphone set could be!

I'm too scared to try them - I'll probably just go with the cardo scala 500 for BT and use regular stereo headphones to listen to mp3s...

things that the manual does not tell you!!

I wanted to use the spacker phone that the box said it had, so I read the manual and could not find how to turn it on so I called Verizon and asked them and they told me to hold down on the CLR botton for 3 sec. What I want to know is there any other things that I should know that is not in the manual. So lets start a long list of them for everyone new to this phone.

Skeacher phone hold CLR for 3 sec.

make ringtone louder?

hey, i bought a ringtone off vzw tones and i must not have recorded it at its loudest because it is considerably more quiet than the rest of my purchased tones. when i go into the tone manager on vzw tones it allows me to raise and lower the volume of tones, but that does not carry through on the actual tones. is there a way to make this ringtone louder- thanks

What bluetooth car kit is best? Anyone tried Moto HF850?

I recently ordered the Moto H500 bluetooth headset on Ebay and turns out the seller is closing his store, so it looks like I have to look elsewhere. But I am looking into the bluetooth car kits that are out there. I was checking out the Moto HF850 but it looks like it requires some installation and I don't know how complicated that will be. Has anyone tried that one and how hard is it to install? Or any other recommendations? Or should I just stick with the headset?

Thanks!
