LG VX-8100

I went and got the update and now the evdo icon is gone and i cant connect to vcast any ideas?

😳 Am I missing the instructions on how to program a button with voicemail password on my 8100?
My old Audiovox allowed the you to program the SEND button with your vm password. Camin really handy when you were accessing VM while driving. 😳

I know that sometimes the phone is picky so you just change the extention on the file but how do you get the phone to play vidio loaded on the memory card I can get the phone to see if I change the extention to .3g2 but it doesn't play does anyone know how to fix this

hi quick question to all those like myself who enjoy converting "stuff" to 3g to watch on your 8100, what settings do u use on IMTOO to get the best resolution as well as audio? i seem to be having a little problem with the audio lagging behind a second or 2 from the video. if anyone has had this issue or similar issues i would appreciate it. thanks a bunch....

Does ANYONE know if there is an update in the works for fixing the fluctuating volume issue? I have Version 04 already.

I've contacted both LG and Verizon and you'd never guess that I got the run-around. Two of the LG people I spoke with, and all of the Verizon people I spoke with, said they haven't heard of the issue. ONE LG guy said he'd gotten a couple complaints. LG told me that Verizon tells them what they (LG) need to include on software updates.

I called my local Verizon store and the girl said I could bring it in and if there was something wrong, they'd replace the phone - only catch is that it'd be a refurbished phone - Um, NO WAY! Then I asked her at what point do they contact the manufacturer about fixing the problem....

It's so depressing. I LOVE PhoneScoop and have gotten sooooooooooooo addicted and I love my 8100 and enjoyed seeing all the traffic on here constantly with new things to say about it, do with it, etc. I have learned soooooooooooooooooooooooo much from here. It sucks that now it seems everyone knows what they need to know, etc. and don't get on here and discuss anything anymore. I know, I know, someone is going to say "get a life", but believe me, I have one, a VERY busy and stressful one, and this is the one place I can escape and talk about something I'm interested in. Oh well, guess it couldn't last forever.

Ok, hope this doesn't sound dumb, but am I missing something? I want to delete some of my ringtones that I put on my phone w/ Bitpim. How do I erase them? Not all, just a couple.

I posted a thread earlier but thought I'd post a new one and be more specific about my question. I have an LG 8100 and a 4650 want to be able to send the phone contacts to bitpim. Bitpim sees the 2 different phones, it even asks me to name them and it will recognize as soon as I plug the phone into the data cable. But the key is I want to keep the contacts separated between the 2 phones. Right now I have the 8100 backed up on bitpim but am paying the 1.99/month for backup assistant on the 4650. I want to use bitpim for both, and I don't want to merge the contatcts together. Is there a way??

I read on a thread about the 9800 that you can get the 8100 for 270..its this true?..last time i checked it was 400+.

☹️ hey guys do you any of you guys know how to get the playback on the new version of bitpim to work properly for the mp3 song(i have used mp3 easy split) to cut the track to the amount of time needed (15secs) but once i try to import the file to my phone the newest version of bitpim plays the file at a really fast speed.. is there an easier way to transfer the file to my phone correctly.. and also do any of you know of any problems i might have if i use a data cable to transfer the files.. i have heard from vz reps that if i do that i will void my phone warranty and that it might create problems with the evdo feature on my phone.

i havnt really noticed anything with the update.. and are the outside buttons supposed to work..?

If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it. I just recently received my 1gig minisd card and have been trying to load up some of the Family Guy episodes. I download the torrent from the link, downloaded the files using Azureus, but when I enter them into the card to try and play them all I get is a white screen and sometimes it freezes up.... Any help on this???

is there a way to turn the flash on externally while the phone is closed as a flashlight???

I had mp3,family guy and pics on my card and I compressed the card and defraged it but now the file are still on my card, but the don't show up on my phone. Very confused.

Ok, this is the first time Im using ImTOO and im not having any success with it. I'm using the settings that "wwhizzard" posted to get the videos to play. But when I try to play them on the phone, all I get is a white blank screen but the timer is going!?...Anyone have any idea what Im doing wrong or have any tips for me??.....thanks! 🙄
