LG VX-8100
Stupidest Question in the forum....
I know I am going to get ripped for this, but I have to ask the question so that I know if I need to stop at the VZW store on my way home from work today or not.
Does the charger for the VX-8000 work with the VX-8100?
Sorry for the dumb question, but I just got the phone today and if my 8000 charger doesn't work with this one, I want to stop and pick up an extra 8100 charger on my way home today.

Is there a differnece between a MINI san disk card and a regular san disk card??? or are they both the same card(differnt name)??? THANKS

software update fix the vibrate / ring problem???
I know a lot of us have experienced this: you put the phone into manor mode (vibrate) and it occasionally still rings.....does the update fix that? Thanks inadvance!

Why does it say that?
Does anyone know why my phone says "Verizon Wireless" through the speaker all by it's self while it is sitting on my desk? It's almost like an alarm or something. It only says it about twice an hour but not at the same time. Thanks.

Does the hs850 headset work?
Hey I'm about to order the Motorola hs850 from CompUSA for a cheap $69.99 but I was wondering if any of you have already tried it on the LG phone, because the hs850 has a bluetooth version of 1.2 and the LG has a version of 1.1.......

Bluetooth pairing in a BMW
I've got a BMW with bluetooth, but I understand that some phones are not compatable with it. I searched the forum for BT threads, but all I found was a lot of tech info. that I couldn't understand. Can any of you BT techies tell me if this phone will work with the car? Mostly I want a good hands free speaker phone in the car, but it would be nice if I could use the steering wheel controls as well as the nav system screen for dialing and looking up numbers. Thanks in advance.

8100 BMW Compatability
Does anyone have any idea if the new Verizon LG 8100 is compatible with the new 2006 BMW 750il?
Even the dealer has no idea because the car and the phone are so new.
I am trying to pair them up and the car says it's reading data but nothing happens after that?
The manual says that this could take a long time, but this is ridiculous, or the phone and the car are not compatible.
Anyone out there know anything?

Despite the update, it still sucks
After exchanging this phone...TWICE --then finally updating it, this phone is still intermittently sounding like crap.
I've returned the 8100 for good and have decided to --at least temporarily, till there's a better sounding phone-- leave VZW, re-instating my account with Cingular.
Been great knowing you all (especially the lovely-handed 'phonephetish')...
P.S. My new screen name will now be 'cingutolerater'.

😈 OK.. so I finally got my 8100 connected to the EVDO service and I just want to know if this is safe or not?? anybody else here using the free broadband service thru EVDO??? has anybody been caught??? can they tell if ur using the phone as a modem?? or does the usage looks like regular Vcast usage???
