LG VX-8100
V-Cast experience
When connecting to V-Cast, about how long does it take? On the 8000 it takes 15-20 seconds just to bring up the menu. Is this faster now?
When moving around the menus once connected, is there still a slight lag between pressing the direction and the highlighted area actually moving? I know you can press the number to directly access a clip, but if it's not on the first page you can't really do that.
Has anyone thought of a convienient way to "bookmark" a certain clip that's updated daily? I'd like an easy way to get to today's headlines from CNN, or the local weather without having to click through all the other steps.

LGE vs VZW
lg usa created the vx8100 for the ultimate in convenience and enjoyment for end users, including a built-in mp3 player that could be easily controlled using the multimedia buttons on the outside of the phone.
verizon wireless immediately realized that this was a "potential problem" because of the fact that if people could rip and copy their own mp3 files, this would mean verizon would not be able to charge people for downloading mp3's through their own "get it now" applications. due to a serious lack of...

I Still Love This Phone!
2) No MP3 player. Oh well. It would have been nice, but then again I own an ipod.
3) I LOVE the disco lights. The light also helps when it's dark and the sound is turned down and the car stereo over powers the ringer.
4)Bluetooth and hands free link in the car works awesome.
4) I have had NO volume issues. Or at least I haven't yet. (And it's been three weeks without issue.)
5) I love the speakers and how loud they are.
6) Storing contacts is the way more organized than the Motorola E815.
7) The camera is okay. But there isn't a cell phone out there with a perfect camera unless you...

The Manual? Anyone else feel this way?
As for the rest of the phone I have had no problems except the picture thing one time. I am unsure if I have the sound issues or just reception difficulty once in a while. I love the phone so far.
Have you noticed how the older phones work better than the new ones?
I owned both the 4400 and 4500 and never had an issue with either one but they were strictly phones w/internet access on the 4500.
