Bought a IPOD!

I have to take my phone back to tech support at my Verizon store this afternoon. Can anyone please help me out by posting their software version on their phones?

Is there a way on the E815 to change the speed dial number of a contact (call him "Contact A") to another speed dial number without completely deleting the contact who presently has the speed dial number you want to switch to ("Contact B")? What I'd like to do is to change the speed dial number of Contact B to another speed dial number, but not delete Contact B. Do I have to first find who has the speed dial number I want to switch Contact A to (Contact B) and switch Contact B's speed dial number before switching Contact A's speed dial number? How do I find the contacts listed by speed dial number?

Does anyone know how to program a verizon phone so that you dont have to take it to the store? I have a trimode phone that I would like to use in areas of low reception and it would be nice if this could be done quickly and easily. Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to run Orb streaming videos from www.orb.com over the vx8100. It seems as though the media player wont stream the 3gp media from that site, always giving me an "unsupported file type" error. Anyone have any suggestions?

or is it done automatically by itself?

Look at the recent reviews for Motorola e815. Obvious LG fans who rated e815 zero and LG 8100 a five. This just seems unneccessary and very childish!

Okay anyone here is able to take pix without 1-2 second camera delay, cus my phone does that...

I tried pressing clear after pic and zooming all the way out, but it still does that 😢

Is there a fix for this? Should I call verizon to get my phone replaced again, I dunno wut u think...

i was heading to a meeting in Appleton and theres a main road that connects the 2 and yada yada yada but my point is i found out today that my phone does not find extended network it just said looking for service both my replacement and my previous 1
so there for i am wondering if there is a faulty programming issue.. has anyone else had this problem tried going into network select. down to band preference and setting it to cell only and it just said looking for service.

I hate to say it because I had a great 4400 phone and expected the 8100 to be better. I now have the 1st one (defective) and the 2nd one (replacement) to return tomorrow. I am not sure what I will get in place of, not paying attention to all the bear/packer.... sorry lg/moto bashers. I have been reading the credible comments on here and still don't know what to choose. I can't wait for the fixes, I need a phone now. I wish I could say this is a great phone, but in the end, is there such a thing? 😕 ☹️

All aspects. I have had it for almost a week now. No issues what so ever. V Cast is amazing, and fun to have.

As for the MP3 player, this will happen when VZW released the Music on Demand service.

All you naysayers bashing them for not putting an MP3 player on it, least you forget they are a business? and the goal of a business is to make money!!! This is what they will be doing later this year when you can downloaded songs to your cell just like iTunes.

I am trying to decide weather to get the LG VX 8100 now or wait and get the samsung a970. I was really excited about the 8100 but I have read about all of the complaints af people in this forum and now I don't know if I should get the 8100. Also does anyone know when exactly the a970 will be released?

newbie here trying to upgrade my v60i Verizon phone. Im a researchaholic but havent done it with phones before.

Learned a bit now about the Moto 815 and the LG 8100 and other phones coming out in the future and feel overwhelmed and depressed.

I took a pic, saved it, and it placed it in 'My Pix' in Wallpaper. Does anyone know how to remove a pic taken if you don't want it anymore?
