Web Browser - Phone or Network Problem?

When I use the web browser, the menu item I select is not highlighted like it always was on my 8100. What I mean, is from the VZW home page, when I scroll down to news, email, etc., I'm not sure which one I am getting unless I push the button 1, 2, 3, etc. Is anyone else noticing this? Could it be a phone problem? I'm not having any other display issues as far as I can tell.

Front Screen Problem??

Well i have had this phone for 3 days and the problem that i am having now is that when i am on my motorola HS850 bluetooth headset and on the phone and someone else calls. I will click over from the headset and it will change calls fine but when i click back over it still changes back to the original caller but the name on the phone doesn't change and the front screen backlight doesn't turn off until i end the call. Is anyone else having this problem with their phones or can someone else test out this problem and get back to me on it.

Did I see right? OBEX is available?

In the specs where it says bluetooth it shows all the profiles available, and OBEX is one of those, Isnt Verizon blocking that feature on their phones?

Another way to Get ringtones

Well i was messing with my 8300 and i was trying to get ringtones on it and i was reading through and saw everyone talking about e-mailing songs. If i am correct that cost 25 cent to send e-mails to your phone. So i was thinking i just got rid of my E815 and gave it to my mom. Not too long before i tried to txt the songs i had off of that phone to my 8300 which worked flawlessly.

Size and Ring Tones ??

I am in the market for a new Verizon phone and have narrowed my choices to the VX-8300 and the RAZR. I have two chief concerns about the 8300 and was hoping some current owners could give their opinions:

1) Size. My current Samsung a670 is a great size. While the 8300 is the same thickness (I compared them at the store), it is both longer and wider. I keep the phone in my front pocket and am sensitive to the size. Does the phone seem too big?

2) Ring Tones. Does this phone have a traditional ringer? I don't mean those ring tones that try, but fail miserably to approximate a normal ring; I just want a standard, pre-music-style ringer.

Opinions appreciated.

LG VX 8300 or Motorola E815

Ready to upgrade from my way old LG 4400 and would like some opinions on these 2 phones. I know the LG is not out yet (June 5, I think) and the Motorola has been around for a while. As for the Motorola, all the user and professional reviews I have read (enough to make my eyeballs hurt) are highly rated with very little negative. However, the LG is an unkown out there on the web, so I have based my thoughts on reviews of the LG 8100, which is also highly rated. However, the LG 8100 is consistently rated slightly behind the Motorola. My experience with my current, way outdated LG has been exceptional. I am leaning toward the LG, but with no real user reviews out there, I am just not sure. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sharing pics

I just got this phone for someone and I don't really know how to use it much but I don't see the infrared on this thing. Is it possible to beam pics to other phones and vice versa with this phone?

Stereo Bluetooth & Pulsar 590A Headset

Simply turning on the headset's power switch activates ONLY the call handling capabilities.

To turn on the stereo music option you MUST press the lower "Music/Mute" button (just below the call answer button) on the right ear.

When you press that button you'll see a second notification of a Bluetooth device being activated on your phone.

Now that you know how to work them be prepared to be blown away. The sound is AMAZING. They are comfortable and the range is excellent.

The controls on the right ear allow you to play, pause, track skip forward and reverse, fast forward and reverse, as well as volume control.

Hope this helps.

Checking signal strength in test mode

How do I check signal strength (dB) in test mode? I know how to get into test mode and field tests, but I can't find anything about signal strength in the menu. Where is this located? Is it in test call? I don't want to start testing without knowing what will happen.

Listening to "My Music" thru the bluetooth headset

I was under the impression that "Stereo Bluetooth" meant you could listen to your music thru the bt headset but this does not appear to be working with my jabra bt150v. has anyone found a way to make it work or does is it just not meant to be?

Music License Problems

I am trying to put my music library onto my micro SD for my VX8300. My unprotected music works fine, but music bought from Napster will not play. I am using Media Player 10 to sync the SD card through a card reader. When I attempt to play a protected song, the phone looks for a license and then says "License acquisition failed". Can anyone help?

Ringtone Volume

I've had my 8300 for a couple weeks now and I love it. My one main problem is that the ringtones I've put on there don't seem to get loud enough for my liking. I've tried amplifying them through bitpim and audacity, but then the quality goes down. I've already got the master volume on max. Is there another way make the ringtones louder? Is anybody else having this problem? I wonder if perhaps my speakers are bad.
